Have progressed quite a bit more of the army, just need to stick on the decals and take some photos.... Have been spending some time on making more "modern" terrain. Here's some photos of the latest additions, pylons and roads. Just need the bases finished and some flock and a bit of dust.

It has taken me ages but at last the M60s with reactive armour are finished. Basic model is a QRF M60 and I have added tiles from plastic card (for those tile counters out there I know it is not the right number! but it seemed a good compromise) and stowage with green stuff etc.... For use with CWC, there is some debate that because the company has 17 tanks it could be represented by a commander and 4 tanks as opposed to 3 tanks, I've chosen this option!

Nothing like moving house to put a spanner in painting of figures.... I've also managed a holiday in Sweden and getting to see the Tour de France finish up in Paris. It has been a good 20 years since I visited the Musée de l'Armée, thankfully it has been modernised! Lots of good uniforms to inspire more projects.....
Onto the USMC....I have almost finished the M60s with reactive armour, a conversion from standard QRF M60s. The stowage is on the fleet of HMMVs and just need to finish painting it. The infantry is finished, just the support troops to be finished ie: Dragon and 81mm Mortars.
Next the LAV 25s, M1s and air support....
Photos to come of these units but in the mean time here is an action shot of the troops as they stand up against Clive's Iraqi force.

The 1st Gulf War USMC

The new Bike

A start...

Summer is here  at last, after winter in Melbourne and then winter in the UK it has been a long year! Finally got myself a new bike and getting some painting rhythm going. Working hard on the 15mm 1st Gulf War USMC, then onto finishing a commission I started before leaving Australia....sorry for the looong delay Michael!
